Colorado Program Plan Approved
On Dec. 9, CAA’s final plan for Colorado’s producer responsibility program was officially approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). CAA Colorado will begin implementation of a 100% producer-funded system for packaging and paper, building a better recycling system and expanding access for communities statewide. This milestone reflects the leadership of CAA and the results of collaboration among producers of packaging and paper products, CDPHE, local governments, businesses, nonprofits, recyclers and communities.
The successful launch of two statewide programs in just six months demonstrates both the strength of CAA’s model and the proven capability of our team and organization.
